This past weekend, Saks Fifth Avenue had a blogger bash to give a sneak preview of their biggest Spring/Summer 2016 trends. I had such a great time being inspired by the styled looks and meeting other local bloggers. I finally got to meet Amanda of Blissful Gal! I had heard so much about her because we share a mutual friend and we finally got to meet at this event! :D She's so sweet and I love her blog! It's so bright and cheerful, perfect for Spring inspo.. you should definitely check it out! I love finding new blogs and seeing the awesome content that is being created in the area! There were cocktails, appetizers, giveaways, adorable gift bags and lots of drooling over the latest accessories!!
I wanted to take home every shoe that was featured. The big trends in shoes this season are prints (I choose floral please!), denim, studded, chunky heels, embellished and strappy. So pretty much think '70s and definitely definitely definitely have fun with it! The shoe trends are very bold and funky, so don't take your feet too seriously this season! ;p
The Fendi Dotcom bag is the "it" bag of the season and bag bugs are super on trend! Check out the hilarious Karl Lagerfeld one I have pictured on a bag somewhere in the pictures up above ^^^
Fringe is here to stay! YAY! It was sticking around my closet no matter what, but now we know it's going to be around for awhile! Hand painted bags are also very in for Spring/Summer and I love that!
It was so interesting getting to hear from the Saks stylists and see the Spring looks that they were inspired to create. The "Modern Eclecticism" look was my favorite! The dress was so gorgeous. I love the colors, pattern and silhouette of the dress. My second favorite look was "Global Traveler". It was the same model for these two looks and she was stunning! There were so many boho and eclectic looks so I was in love! :D
Oh and I won one of the giveaways! I was soo happy, I never win raffles of any kind so when they called my name, I almost didn't believe it ha ha.. But I did win a gorgeous Loeffler Randall bag!
