Style | Knit Poncho {Are You Living Your Intention?}

Hi friends!

I hope you're having an awesome week! Last week, I had a much needed girls night with one of my best friends. We attended a rooftop yoga event called "Balance On The Roof" in the Short North area of Columbus. I had such an amazing time! I was invited by Columbus Stories (definitely check out their blog) & Bexley Yoga. The session was inspiring and refreshing. There was a renewing feeling among all of us doing yoga under the stars + lights of the city, with candles lit. I would seriously recommend it for anyone in the area to try! They're having another rooftop event on Tuesday, September 26th at 6:45 pm. It's only $10 and partial proceeds will be donated to The American Red Cross. It's open to anyone and you can register on the Bexley Yoga website.

I've been looking for a poncho since last year and I fell in love with this shawl poncho from Rosegal. I've always loved ponchos. I remember picking one out with my mom when I was a little girl and being so proud to wear it to school. I had never seen anyone at school wear anything like it. I also remember getting made fun of for that poncho. I was so shocked because I thought it was so cute! I was sure everyone was going to love it. Looking back now, I realize that they probably didn't like it because it was different. I still wore it because I loved that poncho! I also wore one in high school and I think I got made fun of by someone for it.  Why?!!! They're so dang cute haha I don't get it.

Oh & my fall BEARPAW order has arrived and I'm obsessed! These boots are the "Haille" style and they are the comfiest boots in the world. I love that they have a little slouch to them.

Are You Living Your Intention?
That was a question that we were asked during our yoga session. The question really got me thinking, am I living my intention and aim? I think it's really good to check your aim and focus every now and then and make sure you're on the right track. It's too easy to get caught up in the busyness of life and forget what your true aim is. I like to write down what my purpose/aim is. I also like to write down what I'm working on and what I want to be. I've found that reminding myself often of these things really helps me to be my best and stay grounded in truth.

Love,

Christina xx
