I think it's always hard to get back into the swing of work and regular life after a trip! I'm feeling inspired and motivated after our Rochester trip, but it always take a while for me to get back into a normal routine. I already miss eating all of the yummy food and treats! I got a little spoiled while we were there. It sure would be nice to wake up to a breakfast buffet every morning and have an endless supply of coffee at any hour of the day... but who doesn't want that haha?!

{Peace For Our World}
I'm at a loss for words regarding the current state of our world. It breaks my heart to see all of the hatred, violence and fear that is around me. It's incredibly hard some days to remain at peace, to remain joyful, to feel brave. Some days, I just want to stay in my bed and I'm afraid for Fred and I to even leave our house. I'm prone to anxiety and it's been running rapid in me recently. I know that as believers we are called to give our worries to God. We're called to trust in him and believe in his goodness even when darkness surrounds us here on Earth. These things are easier written than practiced in my own life, but they still hold true to me. I will fight every day to live in peace and joy and to promote peace and joy in my own small corner of the world. I'm praying for all of the souls involved in the Las Vegas tragedy. I'm praying for our entire world. I'm praying for you and for me. It doesn't make sense. Many things don't make any sense. But please believe in goodness, believe in love, believe in light. These are the things that won't perish.
