Happy Wednesday!
& Happy Halloween Week!

I love creating these character posts for you! I love them so much and I've gotten such a great response from all of you, that I'm going to keep them going even after Halloween!
Let me know if you're excited about that!

Isn't Alice in Wonderland just like the original, quintessential definition of whimsical?!
I hope you love Alice as much as i do!

Recreating The Look:
I'm so glad that I was able to recreate her little outfit without buying too much! Whenever I see a baby blue dress and cream tights, I instantly think of Alice! I already had this dress in my wardrobe. I've had it for years and I believe it's from Zaful. Of course, I have some very similar ones linked below for you!

I bought this pinafore apron on Amazon for my Anne of Green Gables costume. I had this Alice costume in mind when I bought it. I knew I would be able to create multiple looks from it woot woot!

I already had the black ribbon for the headband. I just tied a black ribbon around my head into a bow. You could use a black headband, or you could also just use some ribbon!

These cream textured tights are from Ebay, but I think I found an identical pair on Amazon that I linked below. I love these tights for my regular wardrobe as well!

These black flats are a one of my recent purchases from Amazon. I don't wear a lot of black, but I thought a pair of black flats might be nice to have in my wardrobe. However, these feel incredibly small on, so I will unfortunately be selling them on my Poshmark closet. Be sure to follow me on Poshmark @dawes29 because I just did a HUGE closet clean out and I will be putting a lot of new items up for sale soon!

This lip color is my favorite true, classic red and it also stays on super well! It's Stila in the color Beso.

Wonderland themed props are just the most fun kind of props in the world. I had so much fun rounding these up!

Fred was so kind and made the little "drink me" sign for the bottle. I've had the little bottle since my bridal shower. I linked a "drink me bottle" from Amazon below.

I thrifted the little squares of pink roses from a thrift store for only $3! What a steal! I have them as a decoration in my office. I linked some similar artificial roses below.

The tea cup is from Anthropologie from a few years ago. I linked another lovely little tea cup below!

The beautiful gold pocket watch was my Great Grandfather's that was passed down to my dad. Then my dad gave it to me for Christmas one year. This is one of my most special jewelry pieces.
I cherish this! I found a cute, cheap one on Amazon here if you're looking for one for costume!
It's only $12.99.

I found this incredible giant flower at A. C. Moore. I found it on sale for $5, how incredible is that? I see them at Hobby Lobby all of the time too, but they can be a bit expensive there. I couldn't find it on their website to link. They might only have them in store.

I got the greenery twinkle light garland from Target a few years ago. I linked a lovely one with more blooms on it below.

Dreamy's bunny hat is from Amazon! You can find it here! And as you can tell, he was just so thrilled with his costume haha. I will also be selling this on Poshmark, because he won't ever wear it again. I was delusional and bought it thinking he wouldn't mind it that much. I bought him a fall sweater last year and he absolutely hated that. We bought him a harness so he could come outside with us and he hates that too. I thought these were because he doesn't like things being around his belly. I thought he wouldn't really mind the bunny hat. LOL. I was wrong. He scratched Fred so badly after we took these shots, because he was absolutely terrified! I felt so bad when I reviewed the photos and saw how scared he was! I didn't think he would think it was that bad.

Happy Halloween week to you! :)

I love Halloween for the creativity and for celebrating the characters that have inspired us!
Let me know what you're dressing up as this year, if you celebrate! Also, let me know if you have any fun Halloween plans!
